Louis C. La Pietra
Louis C. La Pietra is an attorney specializing in Criminal Defense, Personal Injury and Employment Litigation. His background is an ideal mix of academic knowledge and the "street smarts" he developed in the South Bronx and Harlem as an NYPD Police Officer. With the addition of his legal acumen and knowledge of the criminal justice system, Louis C. Mr. La Pietra is a retired NYPD Sergeant S.A. (Special Assignment) He served as Managing Attorney for the NYPD Legal Bureau as well as Legislative Counsel in the Mayor’s Office.
During his tenure with New York City Police Department, he represented Mayors Michael Bloomberg and Rudolph Giuliani at public, televised hearings and lobbied State and Federal elected representatives on behalf of the administration.
While assigned to the NYPD, he supervised outside Counsel and defended State and Federal employment actions against the NYPD; tried employment discrimination case hearings before the New York State Division of Human Rights; taught Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses on Employment Discrimination; and served as in-house counsel to the Deputy Commissioner for Equal Employment Opportunity. Mr. La Pietra is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he went on to serve as an Adjunct Professor of Law from 1998 to 2005.
After 20 years of service with the New York City Police Department, Mr. La Pietra retired with the rank of Sergeant S.A. and entered private practice areas of criminal defense, personal injury and employment litigation. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and Connecticut and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Mr. La Pietra is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association,
the New York State Bar Association, and the Blue Knights.

Michael J. Krieger
Michael J. Krieger is an attorney specializing in Real Estate Transactions, Employment Discrimination and Small Businesses. Mr. Krieger treats his clients with the utmost care and sensitivity while fighting vigorously to protect their interests.
Mr. Krieger's practice is focused primarily upon representing lenders, purchasers and sellers of both commercial and residential property. He also has extensive litigation experience. As a former Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department and as an Attorney with the New York City Police Department, he defended State and Federal employment actions against the NYPD and tried employment discrimination cases hearings before the New York State Division of Human Rights. Mr. Krieger left city service and entered into private practice in 1999. Since that time his practice has focused primarily on Real Estate while also representing businesses in corporate formations, commercial litigation and corporate purchases and sales.
In addition to his real estate law experience, Mr. Krieger presently represents several banks including Wachovia, American Mortgage Express, Wells Fargo, Indy Mac, Option One Mortgage, New Century Mortgage and others. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Mr. Krieger is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
